A trade that's always in demand
Every vehicle on the road needs tyres — cars, 4WDs, trucks, tractors and machines. That means steady, secure work no matter the season.
Careers
Build your career in the tyre industry
The tyre industry is one of the most hands-on, secure trades in Australia — and there's nowhere it matters more than the Kimberley. Start your future with us at Tyreplus Kununurra.
Why tyres?
A trade that keeps Australia moving
Tyre fitting and automotive service is a genuine, future-proof trade. Here's why more people are choosing a career in the tyre industry.
Hands-on, not behind a desk
Learn a real trade with your hands: fitting, balancing, alignments and diagnostics. You can see — and drive on — the results of your work.
Training & qualifications
No experience needed to start. We train you on the job, with pathways into nationally recognised automotive qualifications.
Room to grow
From apprentice to senior technician, workshop leader or front-of-house — the tyre industry offers a genuine career ladder, not just a job.
Work that matters here
In the Kimberley, tyres are safety-critical. Cattle stations, road trains, travellers on the Gibb — the work you do keeps the region moving.
A team that backs you
We're a small, close-knit crew. You're never just a number — you learn from experienced techs who want to see you succeed.

Keen to join us? We'd love to hear from you
We're always keen to hear from people who want to work in the tyre industry — school leavers, apprentices, experienced tyre fitters and front-counter all-rounders. Positions open up as the business grows, and great people go straight to the top of the list.
No tyre experience? That's fine — attitude and reliability matter more to us than a resume. Send us a bit about yourself and we'll be in touch.
